4 heavily photographed landmarks in the world

The world is full of monuments and landmarks, and some of them are very photogenic. So, it does not surprise that they are heavily photographed by both travelers and professional photographers.

Here are 4 landmarks which have been heavily photographed:

a.       Eiffel Tower: Eiffel Tower at Paris has been an iconic landmark as far as romantic couples and honeymooners are concerned. Its towering presence aside, it has been the torchbearer of the city’s pride and romanticism. It has been photographed and splashed all across Paris’ magazines, posters and journals.

b.      Pyramids: Egyptian tours are taken in order to witness the beauty of the pyramids. These pyramids happen to be extremely photogenic. Their unique structure and historic glory have contributed to their popularity and have made them a magnet for all kind of tourist. Egyptian vacation tours also include a trip to the Sphinx which is situated at Giza and is also heavily photographed. The deserted background of these structures makes for fascinating landscape photos.

c.       Taj Mahal: Taj Mahal is an epic monument which was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and is situated in the city of Agra in India. Since, it was built as an epitaph to the emperor’s late wife Mumtaz Mahal, it has assumed a symbolic personality over the centuries. Now, it is considered the ultimate benchmark of devoted love. Couples love to get themselves photographed with the Taj playing the background.

d.      Big Ben: London’s Big Ben is another archaic building which is photographed heavily, owing to its iconic status and deep-rooted historic importance.

3 rivers which you must see if you love traveling

Travelers and backpackers have this strange fascination for rivers. A river is not just a stretch of water body for them, but a mean to connect with the past and to bore into the culture and civilization of the country. So, there are certain rivers which have this holier-than-thou reputation and are tourist attractions in their own rights.

Here are 3 rivers which you must see if you love traveling:

a.       Nile: The Nile River in Egypt holds secrets which have been untold and undiscovered. The Nile is one of the most historic rivers in the world and has served as the birth place for Egyptian civilization. Nile cruises are highly coveted for more than one reason. Firstly, the river has some sort of an enigmatic charm to it. When you are navigating through the Nile, you are actually traveling down the valleys of history. Secondly, Nile cruises can be extremely luxurious and provide excellent opportunities to view the pyramids and temples of the country. Thirdly, as far as natural beauty is concerned, Nile has always had an indomitable run in this context. No wonder, it has been documented by some of the top channels like Discovery and National Geographic.

b.      Amazon: Amazon River is known for two reasons. Firstly, it is the most voluminous river in the world. And secondly and more interestingly, it is home to the famed Amazon Rainforest that houses some incredible creatures like the anacondas and jaguars. So, an ardent backpacker will always love to visit this river some day.

c.       Ganga or Ganges:  As compared to the history and luxury Nile cruises, a boat-ride on the River Ganges in India offers a glimpse into the land of spirituality. An extremely holy river, Ganga is also on every traveler’s wish list.
